"Sounding Joy has been such a help to aide me in learning music.  I learn something new every week, and it is so much fun to belong to a group of such beautiful women...I hope you will come and join us.  You'll be glad you did." -CE

Welcome!

Sounding Joy is an ensemble of 30-40 women singers, selected by audition, who come together for the joy of singing choral music of many styles and cultures.   We strive for excellence in our music-making and generosity in the personal support we give each other.   We range in age from the 20s to the 80s and come from several counties and towns near Danville, Kentucky.  We form friendships through our singing and reach out to the community through concerts and special performances.
