Join Summer Singers
Summer Singers welcomes all singers, age 10 and up. The ability to carry a tune is all that is required; you do not need to be able to read music or have a solo-type voice and there is no audition required to join. A love of music and singing is the most important qualification. If you don’t know what part you sing (soprano, alto, tenor, or bass), we will listen to you in a small group or alone to see where you best fit.
We rehearse every Monday evening in June and July from 7:00-9:00 p.m. You may join at the first or second rehearsal. So come try us out the first week and then decide if you can make the commitment to regular attendance; no more than two absences allowed during our two-month rehearsal period. A third absence can be made up in a special rehearsal.
There is a membership fee which covers the cost of music and our accompanist. This is due at the first or second rehearsal of the group.
